| About Prep |
| All state and non-state schools in Queensland offer a non-compulsory preparatory year of schooling. The Prep year is a full-time play based program (ie. attendance is a 5 day week). Although all state primary schools are offering a full-time prep year, it is not a requirement before commencing Year One. Parents may still choose to use programs currently offered by C&K Kindergartens and/or Childcare providers. |

| To be eligible to attend the prep year, children will need to turn 5 by the 30th of June in the year they start prep. Use this calculator to determine which year your child will start prep. The school office are currently taking registrations of interest for prep. Please ring during school hours on 3261 1554 or come in and see us.
