Bald Hills State School P&C (BHSS P&C) is aligned with the Queensland Council of Parent’s and Citizens’ Association (QldCPCA). The BHSS P&C recognises that parents and caregivers have an important role to play in enhancing the educational and social environment that will shape the lives of our students.
P&C activities provide our community members with the forum to voice their opinions and exercise their rights and responsibilities for supporting staff, students and other parents as we work together to create a centre for educational excellent.
It is the aim of the P&C Association to foster communication between school and parents, and to assist both parent and staff to better understanding and to meet the needs of our school children.  Increasingly, parents and citizens play an important role on various committees and in the management and development of all the school’s activities.
Some of the activities that the BHSS P&C Association oversee are:
  • Provide tuckshop facility
  • Provide uniform shop
  • Organise and supervise fundraising activities
  • Assist with uniform policy
  • Resource schemes, for example: Air conditioning, Electronic Whiteboards and Computers in Classrooms
P&C general meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month in the Library meeting room, starting at 7:00pm. Parents/caregivers and other interested community members are warmly welcomed to these meetings and/or to become active members of the P&C association. **Seeking new members**
The P&C Committee is always looking for new members and volunteers to assist in any way possible. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated. If you could donate even just one hour, to volunteer at an event, it would make a big difference – many hands make light work.
