Instrumental music

​​​​​​​​​Our instrumental music parent handbook has comprehensive information about our music extension programs. It includes checklists for parents to guide us through all of the forms, and steps to provide the material support for students.

  • Miss Moore runs our Strings Programme from Year 3 for violin, viola, 'cello and double bass learners.
  • Mr Hunter runs our Concert Band Programme from Year 4 for clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, bass guitar and percussion learners.
  • Miss Ito runs our Young Voices choir for Years 4-6, and another choir for Year 3 students.
To participate in any of these programs, you need to complete the forms below to assist with covering costs.


Forms you need:

  1. Instrumental music parent handbook
  2. Student resource scheme - Annual parent letter - instrumental music & choir
  3. Student resource scheme - Participation agreement form
  4. Student resource scheme​ - Payment arrangement form
  5. Equipment hire form - for first-year learners in band and strings programs to hire a school instrument

  3. Contact the Band teacher for where to get good deals on instruments after reading the section in the handbook that advises you what to do.
