STAFF MOVEMENT AND NEWS

Today we begin to notify the school community of the staff changes for 2022 that we have confirmed. It is often a sad time of the year as we farewell staff who have given so much to our wonderful school. 

• Jinty Bird will retire at the conclusion of the year after serving our community for 20 years.  As the STLaN, Jinty has given many students the gift of reading. She has also been instrumental in many of our school programs such as the Forestry, Turrwan Circle and PBL. Sonya Kerrigan will take the STLaN position fulltime.
  
• Jackie Baptist-Lange will also retire at the end of the year after 22 years at Bald Hills as both a classroom and LOTE (German) teacher.  I am sure many students will have fond memories of dressing up to celebrate German Day, in which Jackie has established as one of our favourite days on the school Calendar.  Jackie will be replaced by Jodie Coghill.
• Both Kylie Innes and Zac Cowell are taking leave for twelve months to be nearer to family. We wish them both the best for 2022 and look forward to their return.
• Jan Eccles is returning to fulltime work in 2022.
• Rachel Price is increasing her teaching load and returning to the classroom after a couple of years on maternity leave.
  
• We also welcome Rachael Siebuhr and Erin Hall to our teaching staff in 2022.
